Milton Show 2019’s dairy and beef cattle competitions take place on one of the most picturesque arenas on the South Coast. Our newly built yards are user-friendly and allow cattle to be judged in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
To entice more exhibitors to our cattle competitions, a subsidy is available for four or more head of cattle bought to our show from outside of Milton’s general area. Get in touch with us via our Contact Form if you want more information about this subsidy.
We conclude our dairy competition when we award the highly coveted Harry Thorne Memorial Trophy to Supreme Champion Dairy Cow in the final and most prestigious competition class in this section. Don’t miss it!
Have a look at our stud beef and commercial cattle classes. Many of our local beef cattle farmers – who produce high quality cattle and regularly top the sales at Nowra, Moss Vale and Camden – have expressed interest in our 2019 competition classes.
Beef breed classes are held on Friday 1 March 2019.
Four classes will make up the commercial Beef Cattle competitions scheduled for Saturday, 2 March 2019. Pens of three cattle, and a cow and calf class, will be judged on characteristics such as temperament, confirmation, fat cover and frame size.
We believe this section will be very popular with both the general public and exhibitors. Plus serious bragging rights will go to the 2019 ribbon holders.
