Free workshops

Milton Show Society’s fabulous free workshops are on again. Come, learn and be inspired. We encourage all to be involved and participate.  All who are interested, regardless of age. We would like to offer everyone in the community the opportunity to learn new skills.

Knitting and Crochet  – Sunday 2nd February 2020 10AM – Milton CWA Hall, 55 Wason Street, Milton

Would you like to be able to make your knitting and crocheting look amazing? Our presenter Elvina James will focus on how to finish and present knitted and crochet articles. She has many years of experience and a great depth of knowledge.

Bonsai – Saturday 15th February 2020 10AM

Sultana Cake  – Saturday 15th 2020  1 – 3PM – Milton CWA Hall, 55 Wason Street, Milton

Always wanted to find out the art of the perfect sultana cake? Learn the tips and tricks. Come and learn from an expert. This workshop will be presented by Carol Winsley, the maker of prize winning cakes including the sultana cake.

Bottling and Preserves– Sunday 16th February  9AM -12noon

This is a practical hands-on workshop on the art of bottling fruit and vegetables.  Bring your own fruit and/or vegetables and learn how to turn them into attractive bottles of produce. Must register to attend. For more information email  or contact Robyn 0409663174
